November shares.
A nice increase for November of around 3.9% which compares well against the FTSE 100 with its 1.8% gain. However both of these fall into almost no significance when compared to the FT All World index which jumped up 9%. This was mainly fuelled by a substantial jump up by the Bovespa Stock Index (Brazil) and by some of the US stocks, especially in the NASDAQ.
As interesting as South America may be it’s an area a bit too risky for me. Perhaps for a more frequent trader who’s willing to jump in and out as the market there bounces around could do quite well, but I’ll leave that to them.
No trades happened this month. Looking on both the weekly and monthly charts everything looks steady enough. Fundsmith had slightly disappointed but has perked up a bit. Likewise for Polar Capital European.
As things can get a little disjointed over the Christmas period (unless something very dramatic occurs) I think December will be a month of letting things run through, then see what happens once the New Year holidays are out of the way.
